Alena Vasicek serves as the Registrar and Records Administrator for the Russian Salon Dog Registry of America. In this role, she is responsible for dog registration and litter registration, as well as preparing official pedigrees and maintaining accurate pedigree administration records on behalf of the Club.
The Russian Salon Dog Registry of America (RSDRA) currently provides two types of dog registration: Dual Foreign Registration and Litter Registration, as well as services related to pedigree administration.

Dual Foreign Registration is available for Russian Salon Dogs already registered with an accepted foreign or FCI-recognized registry, facilitating their dog registration and assisting with litter registration and pedigree administration.
To complete the dog registration for Dual Foreign Registration, you will need to provide the following: a copy of the dog’s official 3-generation pedigree from an FCI-recognized registry, permanent microchip identification, and a DNA Profile completed through DDC Diagnostics. The fee for this process is $55.00. This ensures proper pedigree administration and is essential for successful litter registration.
All Dual Foreign Registrations must undergo DNA profiling through DDC Diagnostics. Once approved, each dog will receive an official 3-generation pedigree for dog registration from the Russian Salon Dog Registry of America (RSDRA), which is essential for proper pedigree administration and litter registration.

Litter registration is available for litters produced from eligible registered parents, as part of our dog registration process. Additional requirements for litter registration and submission forms will be provided by the RSDRA Registrar in accordance with our pedigree administration guidelines.
Both the sire and dam must be registered with the Russian Salon Dog Registry of America before you can proceed with litter registration. The fee for this dog registration process is $40.00 per litter, which also facilitates pedigree administration.
Each puppy in the litter will receive an individual puppy registration card. The breeder will provide this dog registration card to the new owner. To complete the litter registration process, the new owner must fill out and submit the puppy card to the RSDRA, along with the required registration fee. Once processed, an official RSDRA pedigree will be issued and mailed to the owner, ensuring proper pedigree administration.
The Russian Salon Dog Registry of America (RSDRA) provides essential pedigree administration services, including replacement and amended pedigree options for registered dogs. If your dog's pedigree has been lost, damaged, or destroyed, you can request a replacement pedigree through our dog registration process. The fee for obtaining a replacement pedigree is $40.00 per pedigree.
Amended pedigrees are available solely for the addition of newly earned adult championship titles issued after the original pedigree was printed. This process is part of our dog registration and pedigree administration services.
Examples of eligible titles include adult conformation championship titles earned through recognized organizations such as:
IABCA
FCI member organizations
Other approved adult championship titles recognized by the RSDRA
Please note that titles earned in puppy, junior, or youth classes are not eligible for amended pedigrees unless they are permanently recorded adult titles according to the issuing registry (FCI).
The fee for an amended pedigree is $40.00 per pedigree, which can be processed alongside your litter registration needs.
Requests for amended pedigrees related to dog registration must include:
A copy of the dog’s current pedigree,
Copies of official title certificates or documentation,
The owner’s current contact information,
Payment of the applicable fee.
Please allow adequate processing time for all pedigree administration requests.
For questions or submissions regarding litter registration or other inquiries, please contact the RSDRA Registrar.
The Russian Salon Dog Registry of America (RSDRA) offers Change in Status processing for currently registered dogs, making it easier for breeders and owners to manage their dog registration. This service allows updates to a dog’s registration designation from: Pet, Limited, or Breeding. The fee for this change is $35.00 per dog, an essential part of effective pedigree administration, especially for those involved in litter registration.
This service is specifically for currently registered RSDRA dogs only and does not apply to new puppy registrations or new owners registering a puppy for the first time. Please note that all dogs registered with the RSDRA must have permanent microchip identification in line with the guidelines for dog registration and pedigree administration.
Additional requirements apply when requesting a change to breeding status, particularly in relation to dog registration, litter registration, and pedigree administration.
For males being upgraded to breeding status, the following are required for dog registration and breeding rights approval: Proof of DNA Profile and microchip verification. These documents must be submitted to the RSDRA as part of the pedigree administration process. It is the owner's responsibility to obtain and submit these documents to facilitate litter registration.
Once submitted to the RSDRA, all applications, forms, and supporting documents for dog registration and litter registration become the property of the Russian Salon Dog Registry of America. The RSDRA reserves the right to inspect and review all submitted applications and documentation. Any application or supporting documentation related to pedigree administration that is determined to be inaccurate, altered, misleading, or not authentic may result in denial of registration or a change in status.
Payment for Change in Status applications, including dog registration and litter registration, may be submitted through PayPal using the payment link provided by the RSDRA for pedigree administration.
