Mission Statement of the Russian Salon Dog Club

The Russian Salon Dog Club of America is devoted to the promotion, preservation, and responsible advancement of the Russian Salon Dog, affectionately called "Mermaids." Our members are dedicated to upholding the Club’s Code of Ethics and exemplifying the highest standards of sportsmanship both in and out of the show ring.

Members of the RSDCA prioritize ethical breeding practices, emphasizing health, temperament, and strict adherence to the breed standard. Through education and mentorship, we assist breeders and owners in producing sound, well-balanced dogs and ensuring that puppies are placed only in responsible, loving homes. RSDCA members firmly reject selling dogs to pet stores or engaging in unethical breeding practices.

The primary mission of the Russian Salon Dog Club of America and its members is the continuous betterment of the breed for future generations.
