Mission Statement

The Russian Salon Dog Club of America is dedicated to the promotion, preservation, and responsible advancement of the Russian Salon Dog, also known as  “Mermaids.” Our members are committed to upholding the Club’s Code of Ethics and maintaining the highest standards of sportsmanship both inside and outside the show ring.

Members of the RSDCA practice responsible, ethical breeding with a strong emphasis on health, temperament, and adherence to the breed standard. Through education and mentorship, we support breeders and owners in producing sound, well-balanced dogs and placing puppies exclusively in responsible, loving homes. RSDCA members do not sell dogs to pet stores or engage with unethical breeding practices.

The primary focus of the Russian Salon Dog Club of America and its members is the continued betterment of the breed for future generations.
